NY Rush and Brentwood Joins Forces To Launch Long Island Rush

BRENTWOOD, New York, Thursday, June 2, 2022: Northeast Rush is excited to bring Brentwood Youth Soccer Club into our Rush Family as Long Island Rush. This is an excellent opportunity for our club to be working with such a reputable and renowned youth organization. Brentwood Youth Soccer Club has almost 50 years of experience delivering a wide range of soccer programs for all ages and skill levels throughout Suffolk County.

The history, prestige, and quality of the club have been undeniable, said Craig Thomas, Northeast Rush Chief Executive Officer. “We will continue to provide opportunities to compete regionally and nationally. We are thrilled to have Violette, Herb, and the Brentwood family onboard.”

Brentwood Youth Soccer Club (BYSC) has been providing quality soccer training since 1974. BYSC programs include Travel, Pre-Academy, and Premier programs with teams from U8-U19 year-round, along with an intramural (Recreational) program for children to learn basic skills in a non-competitive, fun environment. Since 1978, all programs have been based out of Brentwood State Park. In 1998, after the property had been put up for sale, the club and its supporters rallied together to save the fields for the community. In April 2003, Pilgrim State Soccer Fields were transferred to Parks and Recreation and became Brentwood State Park.
