The Brentwood Junior Academy Program is designed for boys and girls from U7 to U12 with prior soccer training experience who are ready for the progression from Intramural to the introduction of competitive Soccer in a more challenging environment with a higher commitment.  Our program offers continuous sessions throughout the year that focus on the development of each participant in all four elements of the game in a fun and safe environment under the leadership of our US certified coaches to help them foster positive training habits, improve the technical and physical individual skills through ball mastery, coordination, and balance; enhance their decision-making and their ability to play as a group.

This program is by invitation only.  Players are assessed prior to the start of the Intramural program and recommended for program to the Junior Academy Program.  Parents as well as players must be ready to commit and may opt to stay in the Intramural program if unable to meet the Junior Academy requirements.

The recommended players will be invited to join the Junior Academy and will train three days a week.  The U7 and U8 will participate in the league Developmental and PDI festivals as an introduction to competition with other participating clubs.

The Club-to-Club Player Development Initiative (PDI) allows U7 and U8 players to participate in a festival-like atmosphere as a precursor to clubs’ travel programs.  The goal is to foster growth in the players’ technical skills, and for the players to have fun doing so.
