Intramural

The goal of this program is to provide a fun and educational soccer experience to help introduce the youth in the PeeWee program to the game of soccer.  The Intramural program provides training sessions by qualified staff and assistants that focus primarily on skill development in a fun but structured environment where any child can be included in learning the game of soccer and improving their soccer skills and knowledge. Through the In House program, the Club is able to identify players to our Travel and offer the opportunity to the players that demonstrate a higher level of skills and maturity to be promoted to our Travel, Pre-Academy, and Premier programs.  All Welcome!

Travel

The objective of the Travel Program is to provide the best soccer development experience for our children so they can reach their maximum potential within the State, Regional, National, and even world platforms.  To attain this objective, the program aims to instill an atmosphere of Enthusiasm and Appreciation for the sport of soccer, promote good sportsmanship, and develop the Technical, Tactical, Physical, and Psychological attributes necessary to be quality soccer players.

Age Group:  The age groups are determined by birth year, January-December, and set by US Youth Soccer Association.  All participants move up to the next age group each seasonal year.  The seasonal year is September to June.  Below is an example of age groups for the current seasonal year, (Fall-Spring):

  • 2014:  U9
  • 2013:  U10
  • 2012:  U11
  • 2011:  U12
  • 2010:  U13
  • 2009:  U14
  • 2008:  U15
  • 2007:  U16
  • 2006:  U17

Pre-Academy

This program offers a training environment aiming to start the player's development and thereby ensure that we are all working in the same direction throughout the club.  And to prepare players for more challenging aspects of the youth game as they become competitive players. 

Through the training we will strive to achieve the following:

  1. Developing the technical ability to its fullest capabilities
  2. Encouraging passing and control. (More emphasis on younger players)
  3. Improving player confidence and composure on the ball.
  4. Encouraging building up play from the defensive third where it is appropriate.
  5. Taking away the fear of failure by allowing players to express themselves on the field without being yelled at and being constantly told what to do.
  6. Creating space all over the field using awareness, width, and depth in possession of the ball and off the ball.
  7. Promoting positive attacking soccer.
  8. Working on Attacking and Defending as an individual and as a team.

Premier

The Brentwood Premier is a club-based elite program that competes in the US Youth Soccer National League from U13 to U18/19.  Our mission is to deliver an inspiring soccer learning experience that nurtures a culture of skilled, confident, disciplined, and intelligent soccer players in a professional manner at the most affordable cost.  Our Premier program is ideal for players who aspire to compete at the highest levels locally, in High School and College. The tryout process is designed to select players capable of playing at the National League level and it is then used to assess each player against core criteria and place each player where they will best be able to maximize their development, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.

Our Premier program is focused on providing elite-level training and competitive games in a developmental environment. The program allows players to train at a higher level and play in elite competitions throughout different premier leagues and tournaments.  The program runs yearly, starting from August to June.  Players are expected to complete their yearly commitment to the team and the club. Registration for this program is by invitation only.
